FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: Can both the foam core and canvas cork maps accept push pins?
A: Yes, the foam core is 3/16” thick and can accept push pins while the canvas prints are laminated to a 1/4” thick cork sheet to allow them to accept push pins. Although both styles are perfectly fine to work with pushpins, if you are putting in the pins and removing them on a regular basis, the cork option in a little more durable of the two.
Q: What’s the difference between foamcore or canvas cork?
A: Foam core maps are printed directly onto a 3/16” thick foam core sheet with a matte finish. For our canvas option we print out the map on a roll of canvas, cut it to size and laminate it on top of a 1/4” thick piece of cork. The canvas is also a matte print but has a slight texture from the canvas (as seen by the close up shot - right click 'open in new tab' for full visibility) which gives it a very professional look.
Q: How long does it take to process an order once I purchase?
A: We try to get all our maps out within three business days, sooner if we already have one made in stock (we tend to stock our most popular maps).
Q: How long does shipping take?
A: We ship all our maps through Canada Post. Their suggested shipping times are 2 - 7 days for CANADA depending on proximity (2- 3 days for Xpress) and 4 - 10 days to the USA (2 - 4 days for Xpress).
Q: Where do you ship from?
A: We are proudly located in the West End of Toronto in Ontario (Canada)
Q: What happens if my map gets damaged in shipping?
A: Please send us a message with the details of the damage (including photos) and we will ship a replacement item.
Q: I really love your maps but want something bigger, can you accommodate?
A: We have the ability to do our printed maps larger but not our laser cut maps. As we have not yet been able to find a reasonable frame supplier for the larger maps we do not offer them online. Please message us if you would like to get a larger unframed print. Note that these maps will also take longer for us to produce and can have expensive shipping costs.
